Treasured Memories Design Team 2008

1. Tell us about yourself. I have been married to Kevin for 25 years. We have three children, Erin-22, Rhett-18, and Jillian-10. Above all else, I am blessed to have the family that I do. God has given me an awesome companion and wonderful children--I am proud of them all!! I am a Certified Personal Trainer/Pilates Trainer and absolutely love Step Aerobics!!!! I have the greatest clients and love helping them make lifestyle changes. As for my scrapbooking, I am well known around my friends and family for always having a camera with me. When I get an afternoon to do nothing, you can usually find me in my scrapbook room, trying to catch up.

2. What is your scrapbook style? I am not really sure, but I think it is more shabby with alot of pictures.

3. How long have you been scrapbooking? I grew up as an Army Brat, so I have always collected memorabillia of the places and experiences I have had, but I have "officially" been scrapbooking for 6 years. My passion began with me going to a home scrapbooking party just to be polite to a new friend. Within a year I was well into the hobby. Once I was introduced to Treasured Memories I went crazy!!! Life has never been the same!!

4. Who do you scrapbook? My children, vacations, special occasions and friends. My son is a senior at EHS so I am trying to get his Senior Scrapbook up to date.

5. Name your top 3 tools. My cricuit, paper piercer and circle cutter.

6. How are you inspired to get started on a layout? My pictures and the story behind them inspire me, but sometimes I see a layout in a magazine that I like, and it also inspires me.

7. Do you have any great tips to share? I don't know if it is a great tip, but, I have so much stuff in my stash of scrap supplies, so I make sure I use at least one item on each layout that I have in my stash. I feel that it helps me be more frugal. I also think we need to relax when scrapping, this is a great hobby that lets us express our love for our families in such a special way--if we relax we tend to be more creative.

8. What is your favorite 3 embellishments? Chipboard, Distressing Inks, and Stickles.

9. What is your favorite paper line? Basic Grey, without a doubt.

10. What is your favorite way to journal? I really dislike my handwriting, even though I want my heirs to have it recorded, so I struggle with this. I like to do hidden journaling on pull outs, but I have recently been writing on my pictures or around some element on my pages.
